After finishing High School Mitch attended and graduated from Minot State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. Mitch is married to Janet. They have two wonderful children Julia and Chloe. He serves on the Minot Association of Builders board of directors, where he held the position of President in 2012. They have two active swim club swimmers in the family so it made sense to become a volunteer official, that role turned into Mitch's current position of President of the Minot Swim Club.
