Infinite Campus Enrollment Process

We are thrilled to welcome you to Minot Public Schools! Please follow the steps below to enroll in Infinite Campus. If you need assistance, please stop by the district office (215 2nd St SE, Minot, ND), email enrollment@minot.k12.nd.us, or call 701-857-4400. We are available Monday–Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

  1. Visit the Infinite Campus website to complete the pre-registration form.
    1. For the best experience, we recommend using a computer instead of a mobile device.
  2. Write down the application number you receive after submitting the form.
    1. This number can be used to locate your application if you need to return and complete it later.
  3. Provide all of the required information on the form.
  4. Upload the following documents:
    1. Identification: 
      1. Parent/guardian government-issued photo ID of at least one parent or guardian
      2. Custody/guardianship paperwork (if applicable)
    2. Proof of Residency (one of the following):
      1. Mortgage statement
      2. Lease agreement
      3. Purchase agreement
      4. Rental/homeowners insurance
      5. Property tax statement
      6. If you do not have any of these proof of residency documents, you will need to fill out a residency affidavit. Forms are available at the district office.
    3. Proof of Student Age (one of the following): 
      1. State birth certificate
      2. Hospital birth certificate
      3. Passport
      4. Baptismal records
      5. Hospital records
      6. School record with proof of age
    4. Immunization Records
      1. Exemption forms are available at the district office, if necessary.
    5. Current IEP or 504 Documentation
Kindergarten 26-27

Minot Public Schools is excited to welcome students to the Kindergarten class for the 2026-27 school year! The approximate first day of school August 19, 2026.  

NOTE:  Please complete the enrollment process by July 31, 2026 to insure a higher probability of the student attending their boundary school. Due to capacity limitations, those who wait too long may be placed in a different school and required to wait until the following year to be enrolled in their boundary school.

Your child must be age 5 by July 31, 2026 to attend school in the fall.

Address Changes

If you move and have a student in Minot Public we will need a new proof of residency to update the address for your student.

Please either email to enrollment@minot.k12.nd.us or bring in or send the Proof of Residence with your child to school.  Please list all student names on the document to ensure each school update the address.

Acceptable forms of Proof of Residence (1 of the following)

  • Home mortgage statement
  • Home purchase agreement
  • Homeowners/rental insurance policy---not car or medical insurance
  • Ward County Property Tax Statement
  • Rental/Lease Agreement

Unacceptable forms of Proof of Residence (will not be accepted as proof)

  • Driver’s License
  • Bank account/credit card information
  • Utility Bills

I do not live in the Minot Public School District, but I want my student to attend Minot Public. What is that process?

Understanding open enrollment and a tuition waivers

We are living with someone else and do not have a proof of residence in my name, how do we complete enrollment?

  • We have a form that can be emailed or picked up at the district office and will need to be completed by both you and the person you live with. We will the need a proof of residence in their name.

My student does not turn 5 until after the cut off and I want them to attend Kindergarten, is that possible?

  • There is an application for early entrance into kindergarten, those are available at the District office.

I want my student to attend a school we are not zoned for, where do I put in that request?

  • Put that request in on your Pre-Registration form, you will be contacted to verify that request.

I do not have access to a computer or tablet to complete the enrollment. How can I get it completed?
