Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be taken at the Finance Office of Minot Public School District #1, Ward County, North Dakota, on the following:
One 1056 sq. ft ranch style cabin/house located at 1100 11th Avenue SW
behind Magic City Campus High School, Minot, ND
· Cabin/House shall be substantially completed and ready for use on or before May 17th, 2024.
· Seller shall furnish all the materials and perform all the Work described in the MCC Cabin Specifications which can be obtained by contacting Pam Stroklund, CTE Director, at pam.stroklund@minot.k12.nd.us, 701-857-4458 or at https://tinyurl.com/MPSCabin.
· Cabin/House will need to be moved at the buyer’s expense.
Sealed bids for the sale of the 2022-2024 Construction Technology Cabin/House will be received at the Minot Public School District #1 Finance Office, Attn: Cabin Bid, 215 2nd St. SE, Minot, ND 58701, until 1:00 pm, Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Bids will be opened at 1:00pm on the same day in the board room in the Central Administration Building. Bid envelopes should be sealed and plainly marked “2022-2024 Construction Technology Cabin/House Bid.” No contingency bids will be accepted. A $2,000 deposit for earnest money must accompany the bid.
The high bidder will be notified that they are the successful bidder and their earnest money payment will become non-refundable. The successful bidder will be required to sign a purchase agreement upon acceptance of the bid by MPS, the earnest money will be applied to the purchase price with the balance of the bid amount payable at a closing to take place within 10 days of bid acceptance.
At closing the Seller will provide Buyer a Bill of Sale to the property, free and clear of all encumbrances. Buyer will be responsible for all costs for moving the Cabin/House off of MPS property to a location of Buyer’s choosing. The Cabin/House must be removed from MPS property by or before July 31, 2024.
The School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids, and to modify the manner of sale.
